Help Our Work

We're a small, self-funded rescue, so every donation, raffle ticket and bag of food makes a real difference to the cats in our care.

There’s no big charity behind Pads & Paws, just a small team of volunteers and a lot of very lucky cats. We’re entirely self-funded, so every raffle ticket, bag of food and pound donated goes straight into rescuing, treating and rehoming cats across Dorset.

Where your money goes

  • Neutering, microchipping and first vaccinations for every stray and feral cat that comes to us.
  • Ongoing vet treatment for injured and poorly cats, from eye infections to broken paws.
  • Getting cats to the vet: we help owners who can’t get their cats to and from appointments.
  • Abandoned dogs: we’ve recently started helping dogs who need a second chance too.

Make a donation

A bank transfer is the quickest way to help, and it makes the biggest difference. Every penny pays for neutering, microchipping, vaccinations and vet care for the cats we rescue.

Whether it’s the cost of a bag of biscuits or a whole vet bill, thank you!

Other ways you can help

Donate food and supplies

Got spare cat or dog food, or other bits for animals? Give us a ring on 07561 639304 and one of our volunteers can come and collect it.

Join a raffle or “guess a dog”

Our raffles and “guess a dog” fundraisers keep the rescue running. Keep an eye on the Pads and Paws Homing and Foster Cat Rescue group on Facebook for the next one.

Book a behaviourist consultation

Is your cat scratching the sofa, spraying, or just not themselves? We offer feline behaviourist consultations in exchange for a donation, and every penny goes back into cat rescue.

Spread the word

It costs nothing and it really helps. Sharing our lost, found and homing posts on Facebook means more eyes on every cat, and gets them home or into a new home much faster.
